Well the weather just does not want to change.  Here in Fargo ND we have been getting rain for almost a week and a half now.  My balcony garden is very well watered and needs to have a few days of sunshine now.  They need to dry out so they can start really growing.  with all this rain my work has slowed down quite a bit.  I have two buildings that need so landscaping maintianance done.  But has been too muddy to do anything.

I have been also making money this year through dumpster hunting and curb shopping.  But all the rain has put a hualt on that as well.  Usually I  pick up wooden furniture and fix it up then trun around and sell it again.  I also pick other things that can be resold such as tvs, lamps, computers, and other types of furniture.  I can usually make 50.00 a week.  Which is barely enough for gas now days, but it helps out.

Most of my appartment has been furnished in this manner.  It's amazing just what some people will throw away these days. Some days I will find nothing while other days I am able to load up my van with stuff.  It helps to live in such a big city though.  It's also amazing to see just how many others do the same thing.  I've got to know several others and we like to trade items sometimes.  I'm starting to get a little dumpster hunting trading network going here in Fargo ND.

I'd love to see the treasures you've found from "dumpster hunting and curb shopping." You're giving me ideas! :o
